Nordplus Higher Education awards grants for networks to arrange intensive courses, lasting between one week (five working days) and one month. The intensive courses may take place during term time or in the summer by way of short courses, symposiums, master classes or workshops. Intensive courses arranged by Trollnet are including students, teachers and clinical supervisors from its partner institutions. The courses gives ECTS points to the students, which are recognised as part of the students’ degree.
Trollnet has been active in planning and arranging intensive courses on the past few years about different current themes in the field of health care, such as:
“Creative Methods in Communication” (on 2011 in Norway, in 2012 in Finland and in 2014, Denmark)
"Health Promotion for the Elderly" (in 2012, Finland).
“ Salutogenesis – from theory to practice” (in 2015 inLahti, Finland, as well as in 2016 in Bergen, Norway)
The course in Lahti aimed to present the salutogenic framework for health and well-being and to relate this to health promotion, and in Bergen we deepened and developed our practice skills in health promotion and in Nordic nursing. Check out Bergen's website concerning this IC: http://www.vid.no/nyheter/nordplus-trollnet-intensive-course-in-salutogenesis/
We will be taking a break from IC in 2017, but hope to return with a new offer in 2018
